Finnleo sauna review
Finnleo publishes exact room sizes for every model and almost no electrical data, sells only through dealers, and puts its warranty behind a 60-day registration window. The heater catalog is the part worth studying.
The short version: Finnleo is part of Sauna360, alongside Tylo, Helo, Kastor and Amerec, and operates from Cokato, Minnesota. Indoors it sells four lines: Hallmark, free-standing in three fixed sizes; NorthStar, built in Minnesota from Nordic white spruce in four sizes; Designer, four deluxe modular styles; and fully custom rooms in sizes from 4 × 6 to 12 × 12 feet with interior heights from 75 to 96 inches. Outdoors it sells NorthStar cabins and custom builds. Every room includes the SaunaLogic2 control with a mobile app. What it does not publish, anywhere we could find, is the heater output or the circuit any given room needs.

Those room dimensions are genuinely useful — an 85-inch Hallmark 57 either fits your basement wall or it does not, and you can check that before contacting anyone. What you cannot check is the electrical load, which on a traditional room is the expensive unknown. Every Finnleo room includes a heater, and no room page we read says which one or what circuit it needs. That is a dealer conversation by design. A 210-pound rock load is the interesting number there. Mass is what makes löyly soft rather than sharp: more stone means more thermal buffer, a gentler steam burst and a longer wait for the room to get there. That is the same argument behind the pillar heaters at Harvia and HUUM, and it is why a rock tower reads as premium in a way a wall panel does not. Infrared and hybrid
Finnleo also sells S-Series portable infrared rooms in six sizes, custom infrared for permanent installation, and InfraSaunas that combine traditional heat and infrared in two portable sizes. Its EMF claim is specific in one respect and vague in another: proprietary low EMR and EF technology at under 2 mG and 1 V/m, safety tested and verified by Intertek — a named body, which is more than most — but with no emitter type, no model-by-model figures, no test date and no report published. Outdoors: NorthStar and custom
The outdoor NorthStar comes in three ready-to-buy sizes — 4 × 6 feet, which is a 24 square foot footprint, 5 × 6 and 5 × 7 — built from pre-assembled Nordic white spruce wall panels with abachi benches, backrests, heater guard and duckboard, a metal roof kit, an integral waterproof vinyl floor, bronze-tinted all-glass door, LED lighting in the backrest and a Designer-SL2 heater with Wi-Fi control. Above that sit the Euro Custom and fully custom outdoor builds, where wood species, window placement and interior layout are all specified. As indoors, the electrical specification is not published on any outdoor page — the circuit is a dealer conversation. A 60-day registration window is easy to miss on a project that slips, and this one runs from installation rather than purchase. It is a poor fit if you want to compare specifications and prices yourself before speaking to anyone, or if the sauna is for a rental property or a gym — the warranty is residential-only.
