None of this is a reason to avoid full spectrum. It is a reason to price the wiring before you price the cabin — the order in which people usually do it is backwards.

Is full spectrum worth the step up?

Full spectrum adds near and mid-infrared wavelengths to the far-infrared output every cabin has. The research base for near infrared is genuine, and it is also narrower and more localized than the marketing implies — most of it concerns skin and localized tissue rather than whole-body outcomes. Our position: if you can add 220 V without difficulty and you want the wider spectrum, the step up is defensible.
