Everyone in this category says they tested twenty saunas

We have not tested any, and we say so. Sawyer V. is an enthusiast, not a lab — no test bench, no owned units, no credentials. Publishing that plainly is the point rather than an apology, because two of the ten publishers ranking against us make the exact testing claim we refuse to make, on the same evidence base we have.

What we do instead: read the manufacturers' manuals and spec sheets, compile them into tables that compare like with like, compute running costs and chiller sizing from first principles with the working shown, and cite a real linked source for every physiological claim. Where a figure is not published, the cell says “Not published” — which is a complete answer and a more useful one than a guess.

Units we claim to have tested: 0. That number is the one we are proudest of. Read the full methodology, including the limits of spec-led ranking that nobody else names.
