"Cedar" is used loosely. Some listings mean solid Western or Canadian red cedar throughout; some mean a cedar-faced wall over another wood; some mean cedar trim on a spruce or fir cabin. All can be legitimate, but they are not the same product. The cabins here name the species — Canadian or Western red cedar — and where a construction is mixed, we say so. The words to look for are "solid" and a named species; the phrase to question is "cedar-look" or plain "cedar" with no detail.

Cedar left bare inside a sauna is correct — it stays cool to the touch and does not give off anything when heated. It still benefits from cleaning and an occasional sauna-labeled paraffin oil on benches. Outdoors, the exterior needs a treatment suitable for exterior wood and the winter maintenance routine.
