Almost Heaven is one of the more established names in US home saunas and one of very few in this category that manufactures domestically. Six of eight rows are gaps. That is thinner than most of the outdoor sauna listings we surveyed, and it means the marketplace is not where this brand can be evaluated — the dealer conversation is.
Why US manufacture matters, and where it does not
It does not make the sauna hotter. A correctly sized 6 kW heater produces the same heat wherever the cabin was built, and domestic manufacture is not a heat specification.
Where it plausibly matters is parts and support. A brand manufacturing domestically with a dealer network is a brand you can get a replacement panel, a door seal or a bench board from in year eight. That is a genuine long-term advantage over an anonymous import, and it is the same argument we make about named-brand heaters in best sauna heaters.
What to ask a dealer
Since the marketplace listing publishes so little, these are the questions that actually decide the purchase — and they apply to any barrel or cabin brand, not just this one:

4.5 kW into a three-to-four person barrel is the sweet spot almost nobody points at: properly sized for the volume, on the smallest circuit that will do the job.

Skip it ifyou want a genuinely hot barrel in a cold climate. In sub-freezing ambient temperatures 4.5 kW struggles, and you should step up to 6 kW or more.
