Sun Home Solstice: what the documentation says
Sun Home's far-infrared line, in one- and four-person sizes. It publishes more than most of this category, including EMF measured at stated distances. Here is what that covers, and what it does not.
The Solstice is Sun Home's far-infrared cabin — the classic infrared sauna, as opposed to its full-spectrum Equinox. It comes in a one-person and a four-person size, and it is interesting mainly because of how much Sun Home now publishes about it, including the specification this whole site keeps asking for: EMF measured at stated distances.

Note that the two sizes use different outlets: NEMA 5-20 for the one-person and NEMA 6-20 for the four-person. They are different plug types, so check which receptacle you have — or need — before ordering. Figures read from Sun Home's product pages on 2026-09-11.
The EMF testing, read carefully
Sun Home publishes independent EMF testing by Vitatech Electromagnetics (report VTE-3534), measured as RMS magnetic field with a laboratory fluxgate magnetometer, with the heating element under load. Crucially, it publishes the figures by seated distance from the heater:

This is exactly the form a useful EMF figure takes: a number, a distance and a method. It is published as a result for Sun Home's heating technology rather than per model, so we cannot tell you the Solstice's own figure specifically — but it is far more than most of the market publishes. Sun Home also publishes cabin-air testing: a total VOC result of 27 µg/m³ for a tested unit under reported conditions, by EPA Method TO-15 at an accredited laboratory, and adhesive testing with no formaldehyde or BTEX detected above reporting limits. What the class involves
A far-infrared cabin heats you with radiant panels rather than hot air, running up to around 140 °F — the Solstice's published maximum — rather than a traditional sauna's 175–195 °F. The one-person model's 20 A circuit is a dedicated standard-voltage circuit; the four-person model's NEMA 6-20 outlet is a different receptacle again, which is an electrician's question worth settling early. What we could not verify
- A per-model EMF figure. The published testing is for Sun Home's heating technology overall.
- Total power draw in watts. The circuit is published; the wattage was not on the pages we read.
- The four-person model's full depth. Height and width are published; we did not capture a length figure.
- Warm-up time. Not published, as with nearly every infrared cabin.
- A first-party Amazon listing. Sun Home sells direct.
None of those gaps is unusual — most of them are gaps in almost every listing on this site. What is unusual is the EMF and VOC documentation, and a buyer who cares about either has more to go on here than with most brands.
Alternatives you can buy today
If you want a far-infrared cabin available through a normal retail channel now, the picks below are in the class. They are not Sun Home products and they do not publish EMF testing at stated distances — one publishes an EMF figure without a distance, which is closer than most. That difference is real, and it is part of what the Solstice's price pays for.
